Muslim Council Wales is participating in National Mosque Open Day taking place on Sunday February 7th across the UK. There are over 100 mosques taking part and you are invited to join one of our participating mosques in Wales. These are:

Al-Manar Centre, 2-4 Glynrhondda Street, Cardiff, CF24 4AN

Darul Isra, Wyvernne Road, Cathays, Cardiff, CF24 4BG

Shah Jalal Mosque and Islamic Centre, Crwys Road (on the bridge), Cathays Cardiff, CF24 4JN

The initiative is designed to break down barriers and strengthen community relationships so we hope you can pop in to meet members of your Muslim community, learn what takes place at mosques and ask any questions you might have.

If you are on Facebook please join the FB Event to let others know you are attending by clicking on this link also tweet about it using the hashtag #visitmymosque

The list of participating mosques can be found here you can search your local area or scroll down to the list of Welsh mosques. Please remember to share across your networks to encourage others to also take part.

In current times Islam is being hijacked by people claiming to be Muslim and committing acts that totally go against the teachings of Islam, we want to use this national mosque open day as an opportunity to break down barriers and make new friendships. It is also a great way to get answers to any questions you might have about Islam and Muslims.
