Are you a young person or do you work with Young People in Cardiff?

Want to increase their understanding of Refugee & Asylum Seeker Issues?

Thanks to funding from Pears Foundation, via Community Foundation in Wales, we are excited to be able to offer:

Refugee Awareness Workshops to youth and community groups in Cardiff.

The training is FREE

The RAW Project will be delivered by engaging and diverse youth workers from EYST, working in partnership with refugee-support organisations in Cardiff to deliver a programme of half-day/ 3 hour awareness sessions to young people giving participants information, understanding and empathy around the contentious and contemporary issues of refugees, asylum and immigration.

Based on our successful Think Project www.thinkproject.org.uk approach, and bringing in real life examples of asylum seeker and refugees to tell their stories, the workshops will encourage debate and open dialogue to get issues out in the open, and will foster empathy and understanding of refugee and asylum seekers in Wales.

These workshops are free, but only available for a limited time, between January 2016 and April 2016, so to book a place please contact nicky@eyst.org or taslim@eyst.org.uk or call 01792 466980/1 for a discussion.
