As our visitor centres are filled with customer favourites like our Cadw calendar, alongside more unusual products from independent Welsh suppliers, we invite you to enjoy the fresh winter air and pick up a unique gift for that special someone.

The Cadw calendar contains stunning photographs of  our sites from all over Wales. This year, Cadw’s support for the Welsh football team manifested itself in a red Caerphilly Castle and Castell Coch, both of which feature in our new calendar.

We have the traditional Wreath Making workshops at Castell Coch this weekend (26–27 November) and Plas Mawr on 10–11 December.

Santa is coming to…

We also have late night shopping at the following sites:

Beaumaris Castle             26 November 4–6pm

Raglan Castle                   30 November 5–8pm

If you are looking for the festive spirit; join with us at Harlech Castle on 01 December for ...

  • Santa’s grotto
  • Lantern Parade
  • Music
  • Late night shopping
  • Local crafts
  • Variety of refreshments
  • Special offers

There is no admission charge for this event.

Christmas at Caerphilly Castle

This year, we invite you to Caerphilly Castle to experience a medieval Christmas!

Santa will be there, with one of his reindeer, along with festive treats and refreshments.
