Try out a range of simple crafts and textiles; papercrafts, mosaics, stitch crafts and textiles. Make crafts for the home and family, build your confidence and make new friends.
CONFIDENCE & ASSERTIVENESS
5 Week Course at Stewart Rd Com Cent, Rhoose
This course can help you improve your confidence and self-esteem. You will consider what it means to be confident and behave in an assertive manner. You will learn how to communicate more effectively.
MANAGING STRESS IN FAMILIES
5 Week Course at WVICC, Llantwit Major
You will consider the causes, signs and symptoms of stress and develop ways to manage siutations, reduce your stress, keep calm and carry on!
COMPUTER SKILLS WORKSHOP
10 Week Course at Stewart Rd, Com Cent, Rhoose

All our courses are accredited, and suitable for all levels, from absolute beginners to confident users. Use these workshops to learn the basics of how to use a computer, internet and email, and basic computer packages. Progress onto Level 1 using Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Use the internet for job search, set up email accounts and send emails with attachments. Complete applications, update your CV and covering letter. Prepare for interview.
1 Day Course at The Gathering Place, St Athan
This workshop will help you present yourself with confidence, consider what sort of questions you will be asked and how to demontrate your skills.
Those who are eligible to enrol on these courses include those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). Also those looking for work or seeking better employment oppportunities. We aim to work with people who have not achieved a level 2 (or equivalent) qualification.
